This boat is a Wayne Beal 36.

It is one foot longer than the RP 35 and a few inches narrower. I am not sure if most of us could see the difference in the length but I can't. This picture shows the port side of a lobster boat completed by William and Tracy although not done at their new shop.

The picture below is the hauling side of the above boat with the "winter back" closed. It also shows the davit or whatever anyone wishes to call it by the small window toward the front of the cabin. The winter back is not always included, as most lobster fishermen won't bother with it unless they fish all year or at least some part of the colder season.

You can see some of the electronics, the hauler, steering wheel, and the opening window. The frame around the engine is built right in and no water on the deck can get into the engine compartment. What doesn’t show in these pictures is the workmanship. The glasswork has the standard matte finish instead of being smooth like a windowpane. I would like to add that you won't find bumps and lumps or holes caused by pores in the fiberglass. The work done by William and Tracy equals or surpasses any of the other boats I have looked at. Although I didn't personally see this boat it appears to have only the finest options many lobster fishermen put on their boats.

If you look at the picture you will see that this boat has a stainless hauler and an aluminum hatch, and deck tiles. All of these features are options with any shop but the aluminum hatches and stainless steel hauler are strongly recommended by this shop. The tiles, although recommended, are fairly expensive and for many fishermen are a luxury they really don't feel they need. This shop "custom" builds your boat to "your" specifications so everything is left up to the owner.

This is a Mitchell Cove 32. This boat was finished at the shop and was one of the first projects after opening their business. Personally I think the Mitchell Cove is one of the prettier boats readily available to lobster fishermen. Calvin Beal designed this boat. It is one of the many hulls that are available. William or Tracy can provide any necessary information about availability and pricing.

The following picture shows the necessary equipment for Lobstering. The picture is taken from two photos and matched up as well as I could. It shows the doorway above the angled steps, (to allow the person to step on a flat surface rather than the side of the boat), the larger tank for the hauler and a smaller tank for the steering. On the left side of the picture is the hauler motor, steering control, hauler motor, and hauler valve. Also shown are the fuel filter and the red cooling hoses on the engine. Near the door are a small electrical panel and a battery switch.

Boats for Sale:

Thanks!

Please check come of the boats the shop has built. The following pictures didn't scan properly as you will see. I was aboard this boat after it was completed and the workmanship is impressive. This boat was finished at the Jonesboro Custom Finish Shop. This hull is the "RP 35" designed by Willis Beal. The top is basically a balsa cored, molded top, with a very large amount of custom work performed on the back end of the cabin.

This is the pleasure version of the lobster model I had finished off.
