I dabble with websites and the computer as a hobby.

I believe it is important that people know that I am college educated, employed, and my income is at a level well below the national average. This gives visitors some indication of where my information and comments are coming from. Obviously a person’s standing on the social ladder will have a dramatic affect on how they feel about many things.

I enjoy debates on politics, religion, or anything that is happening in America and in my life. I dislike name calling and and just arguing to a point where it is more like fighting than discussing because once a debate gets that heated, nothing will be gained by either party.

Visitors are welcome to sign up and make comments, or if they desire they can also contact the admin and become a contributor and make main posts on the site.

I am finding that there are a large percentage of visitors on this site that obviously are looking to see just who I am.

I was born an American citizen. I see things changing in America. I just want to hear from others because I like to hear from people with views on anything, or that just wish to share their experiences. Nothing on this site is meant to upset anyone or do anything aside from allow people of all levels on the social ladder in America  to have their thoughts and ideas seen by others.

Anything on this site is based on my personal views or those that take the time to comment. It is a “personal” blog which are never successful if you read about blogging.

I personally get tired of blogs with hyped up advertising, politics, religion, and things we read about in the news although I will probably comment on them as this is “my” blog and I use it just for my personal enjoyment.

I welcome anyone to post about their life in America, but to be fair, it can be about anyone in any country.

Kelly thank you for such a honest and informative site. I found you through lighthousefriends.com and the google map of Cuckholds Light.

I am looking to form a “for the fun of it” Lighthouse Run with a few biker friends but am wondering if we will be allowed close enough to enjoy this historic place should we head out that direction. Do you know? Perhaps you know of other sites that would be helpful in planning such a tour of Maine Lighthouses?

Unfortunately we will not be available to join the Lighthouse – Open House in September that the State has arranged.

    Thank you Kelly.
    Sincerely,

There are many sites. I would look for Burnt Island because this is some sort of headquarters for some lighthouse thing run by the state.

There is also a lighthouseCC site for which I don’t have the url. I think if you search Maine lighthouses you might find it.

Also the link in my opening post about the article I wrote has a guy, Jeremy D’Entremont I think is his name and he also could provide the information you seek if anyone can. Also try this link http://lighthouse.cc/

The light can be seen best from Newagen right at the water but is far enough offshore so that it would just be a little larger than a dot and I don’t think you could see any detail without binoculars.

    Hope this helps.

Hi Kelly it is Natalie from Coles. Just letting you know I found the site. I really like the pictures in the corner… you have the roosters up there on another page!

I have a whole other site about the chickens, but had some problems with the programming, so it is in a great state of disrepair which I work on for a few hours each day.

Thanks for checking the site out, I look forward to seeing you again at Cole’s.

The pictures on this site, the upper corner change, I can’t even remember what one’s I put in. :)
