I was listening to Pandora Radio which I find is excellent. I do know I had to sign up and I did post my findings here. I gather from a short time on the site, that Pandora has many specialized radio stations that can be listened to for “free”.

In a comment on that post, someone left information about Grooveshark. I don’t know if they are “radio stations” but I do know I was able to go to the site and listen to music without signing up. I don’t know anything about it other than I did listen to that song.

I do know they have a login, but this login could be for the pay version which removes some ads.

I gather that grooveshark is music, unlimited, and Pandora is radio stations. Possibly Pandora has the option to select music and not just the radio stations but I don’t have this information. I only listen to the radio there, for “free”.

I did search for a song on Grooveshark and was able to play the song I searched for without signing anything. This is a big plus for those not wishing to sign up for things on the internet.

I would like to know more about both of these sites, or new sites if anyone wishes to let others know about them.

I am always looking for “free” things that are actually “free”. In most cases things are only free after you make some sort of purchase of commitment. This isn’t the case with either of these because you have to buy nothing.

Even if you have to sign up, there is no financial obligation with a minimal of inconvenience. Please let us know about any “free” things regardless of what it is. I am not interested in things that require any sort of financial obligation so information about anything of that nature will be deleted.

I do know there are free TV and movies available. I haven’t found any of those sites that I consider “user friendly” but would be interested if anyone knows of any.

I am adding this post for one reason. I would like to compile a list of things that are actually free.

We all read all the information on the pages that come up that list free stuff on the internet.

If you notice, I have the “Targetz.com” site listed. It is on the site because it is really free. I consider free, as something you don’t sign up for, but you can still get something, no strings attached, that you might actually use.

I put this post here because I wish to hear about other sites that are free. If you go there, follow a link or two, you can actually print targets, with no charge, no signing up, no commitment to the site.

The other one I have found that is free is the Hunger Site which is free, but you don’t get an item or anything, you merely get what I consider a very good feeling, because you give up about a minute of your time or less, but you get the good feeling because you do something for someone. I consider this a “free” gift. I don’t know or care where the food the click purchases actually goes. I only care that I took a minute of my time, clicked a couple links, and someone got a free meal. The real financial loss to me is zero. I waste more time than that procrastinating about getting out of bed. There is also a link to pets that helps buy food for pets on that site, as well as some other links.

I do believe with the economy the way it is, we really should try to help others.

I ask that you post your links, that are totally “free” here so that we can all work to use a couple minutes to help someone somewhere.

I probably will delete any comments that require signing up to get something as I am looking for the real “free” things only. I might put another post where free things can be obtained by signing up or the like, but I have a very deep dislike for modern advertising that promotes free, then you go there only to find that in order to get the item free, you need to purchase something.

I am not saying that these probably aren’t good deals, I am merely saying that if I need to buy to get something free, it really isn’t completely free. It is probably just a good deal.

Because I enjoy shooting targets at the range I am adding this link where you can print targets for free.

The site is Targetz.com . There are several different designs, 5 categories I think, which have several different targets which are all easily printable for use at the range, or any other place you might wish to shoot.

Some targets are even printable in segments that you piece together for long range shooting.

I consider ink and paper quite expensive, but compared to buying them in any retail outlet, you will save bundles of money by printing your own targets. I also like the change from the standard targets with the bullseye.

I print all of my targets there and only buy a very small amount of the “Shoot N C ©” so I can see where the target is hit at longer ranges.

I realize they aren’t exactly “free” because you do need to buy paper and ink cartridges, but I find they are every bit as good as the inexpensive targets and the cost is minimal.

Because I shoot at short ranges, 30 – 50 yards, I like the targets with the pool balls or balloons because it provides several “targets” on one “target” in that if you are using a scope, you can generally hit close enough so that you can use the large number of symbols on the target, rather than just one bullseye.

The Novelty targets are nice. I can think of a few more that would be nice to shoot at.

I strongly recommend at least looking at the site. I know it saves money.

I listen to Pandora Radio once in a while because it is free and you can pick any type of music you want.

When you search for music there, it actually finds the type of music you want which is actually quite good. Often searches bring up things that are totally different from what you are actually looking for.

I believe this is because nearly everything is designed to sell something. I know if you register you will probably get e-mails that advertise because it isn’t on the internet for nothing, but it does provide nice music of all types and sounds as good as you computer system allows.

I have been doing some research on free TV on the computer but haven’t yet found anything that is simple to use that is really free.

I would like to hear from people that use or watch the TV on their computer that are getting their programming free. I think we all should know that not everything is available, but there might just be enough to make it worth it.

I say worth it in that I can’t find a site that is totally free that I can just go there and get what I want without some messing around. I do know many of the sites that offer any free radio or TV are often busy and do run quite slow. If you want free it seems that this is just one of the inconveniences of getting something for nothing.

Many people know about this type of thing on the internet, but if for some reason you have never looked for free radio try Pandora Radio, it really is quite nice and it is music without the advertising.
