I have raised chickens for over 30 years and draw much from my experiences on this site.
My knowledge comes from reading many publications and bulletins such as from the state agricultural college. It really is hard to beat the “free” information.
I have also raised turkeys and at one time I had a few ducks.
Raising chickens isn’t difficult, but I have been learning about them for many years and find there is always more to learn about them.
Interesting topic! I checked out your site because I wondered about adding Amazon ads, esp for books, as I see you have done. It seems to work well on your site in that the books are relevant to your topic. If you have a minute to reply, I’m wondering how long you have monetized your site with amazon and if it is worthwhile in your opinion. Thanks.
You can pick the ads to fit your site with Amazon. I think the way they do things is quite awesome.
I don’t run Amazon ads on all of my sites because I don’t feel they will do anything until the number of visitors is up around at least 1000.
I keep the ad here, not for the money, but to show how many books there are available for poultry, and it is a nice easy place to check them out.
That’s my honest opinion.
