This shop will finish most hulls from RP, Crowley, Wayne Beal, Calvin Beal, H &H, or just about anyone. When I was looking I found that Willis Beal, Calvin Beal, and Osmond Beal were the three best known designers of lobster boats in “Downeast Maine”.
The picture at the right shows the new shop. This replaces the Quonset type building behind the boat (lower picture) they finished off for me in 2002.
This is just my personal page and I am stating my personal opinion only. I will say however, if you contact them you can get the names of owner’s of boats they have finished and I feel very confident that the owner’s of boats built at this shop will verify what I am saying.
The Weaver 32 is a fine example of their high quality workmanship for small cruising motor yachts. She has exquisite workmanship, inside and out, check the pictures!
I feel you need to look at some of their finished boats to really appreciate their work.
It should also be mentioned that William has fished for lobsters and other commercial species and knows exactly what fishermen want and need. This doesn’t mean that he doesn’t finish the boat exactly to a customer’s specifications. He does build exactly to “your” specifications. If you presently own a boat that has things you don’t like he draws on his experience and suggests things other fishermen do to improve the workability of their boats.
It wouldn’t be fair not to mention that they also finish off pleasure boats. You can contact them below.

The Jonesboro Custom Finish Shop is now building canoes they called “Willies “wicked wide” Canoe. Please click on the picture to enlarge to read the description and to get a better look.
The canoe sounds like it would be awesome for camping trips as it would carry a large amount of equipment. I do know I trust their quality, so you might wish to check them out if you are interested in a canoe.
I don’t know exactly what category the canoe fits in as I do lack much knowledge about canoes. I did have an old Mad River many years ago and found that it cracked under the gunnels. I guess it was just a manufacturing defect.
I assume Willes canoes are fiberglass but I haven’t yet had a chance to get up and see one.

Please check come of the boats the shop has built. The following pictures didn’t scan properly as you will see. I was aboard this boat after it was completed and the workmanship is impressive. This boat was finished at the Jonesboro Custom Finish Shop. This hull is the “RP 35″ designed by Willis Beal. The top is basically a balsa cored, molded top, with a very large amount of custom work performed on the back end of the cabin.

This is one of the pleasure boats that has been finished off at the shop. I don’t have some pictures of some of their impressive repair projects that include widening the stern on a lobster boat and many other repairs that have been done at the shop.
The following are pictures of this completed boat. You will need to wait as it is an automated slide show. It has the picture of the shop, my boat, and the pictures of the Weaver 32. It does have somewhat of a delay so please be patient.
If you don’t wish to wait, just click the picture to see the next. The pictures really do show the quality work done by this shop.
