Who Is Hosting Your Site?

If you find this site, please take note of how well it loads. I admit all over the place that I am an amateur. This would be unimportant, but because I am an amateur I often have varying amounts of errors in my files that show on the site.

I ask that you try to read just one of my other posts, although two or three might give a better indication of how the site actually performs.

I ask this because this site is hosted on bluehost. I do like the tech support and the online support. I also like the fact that it is very good inexpensive hosting. I am very seriously considering changing hosts because I find that working on this site, making a post, or just about anything dealing with this site is more often than not, a chore because of the slow loading.

The control panel and things of that nature seem fine, but if I try to read this site to edit or just make sure there are a minimum of spelling errors and the like it can be very frustrating.

I doubt people finding this site will take the time but I ask this one thing:

Please comment and let others know what host you are using.

If you prefer not to remain anonymous, use my contact form. Include your site link and your host, so that people can see for themselves exactly how a host is performing. Out of necessity, any host needs to say their system performs in some super manner. I will post your link, and also the name of the host you are on. My belief is that this will in time save a few webmasters from getting into a marginal host that loads slow and actually costs them money instead of saving money by purchasing this inexpensive hosting.

It will do two things. It will provide a visitor to your site, but it will also show just how well the host is actually working. I realize there are busy times on the internet and on hosts.

There have been times that I wouldn’t even work on this site because it took so long to preview the changes, it was just a waste of time.

I can’t do this for porn sites or those that would be offensive to the average person visiting this site.

I really believe this is the only way to demonstrate to amateurs like myself how much hosts can vary in the speed at which they operate.

Unless something changes, this site will demonstrate how well the average site runs on bluehost. I stand by my statement that I like everything about them, but at the same time, they do load slower than the last host I was using and with smaller files and less information.
